_{I finally decided to make one of these for Esmond since he is my main OC after all and I feel that you all should get to know him a little more.

He is not your typical Dracula per say, not exactly wearing capes and going around in the middle of the night and sneaking into women's rooms just to feed from them, nor does he have an aversion to holy objects. I mean if he did he wouldn't be a priest now would he?

The type of vampire he is comes from many different sources that I have put together so he fits my personal preference. Though some might find that he is very similar to the vampires from "Vampire Diaries". That is true, most of the things I used are from the show/books, however I have a few changes I made to suit the universe I created to set Esmond in called Nosferatu. I won't get into that because this post will be long winded enough. ( I also realize I never go into depth on well what Esmond is like as a vampire but ehhh I'm too lazy to edit this )

^₊Manually made vampire. Was previously human before he was forced to turn.

-SEXUALITY
+ Closeted bisexual. He has laid with men and done many other things with men. But will openly deny anyone claiming him to have done so. He simply does this because of how unaccepting people used to be when it came to gay or bisexual men and women. Sometimes mentioning relationships with men also makes him uncomfortable seeming that he was sexually assaulted by one as a child, though he has long since managed to control his feelings over that situation.

-LANGUAGES
+ French, Italian, English, Irish Gaelic, Spanish, etc.. He has learned a lot of languages due to how easy he found it and how he likes to make people feel comfortable by being able to understand them.

-NATIONALITY
+ Ireland. Born and Ireland but became an American citizen once he immigrated to the US in order to escape the great famine and economical failure in Ireland.

-RELIGION
+ Unorthodox Roman Catholic. His beliefs are not conventional and do not match with the church, though he doesn't like forcing his beliefs onto others and allows them to make their own decisions about what they want to believe in. he wasn't always unorthodox but years of living and experiencing many things, he has changed his views a lot.

+ Dublin, Ireland.

-CURRENT RESIDENCE
+ South Amboy, New Jersey in an old priest's home ( clergy house ) behind the church. Though he does stay in many places around the country simply because of travels.

- OVERVIEW
+Esmond can be usually seem as a calm and collected type of man that has a carefree and peaceful air to him. He is a smart man, showing that mostly through the way he speaks which is very carefully worded but he does tend to speak a little fast when it comes to things he is passionate about. And because of the type of accent he has, people might have a hard time understanding what he is saying.'
He is very passionate about what he believes in even though if his beliefs waver a lot. over time he used to be a very celibate man and refuse to commit any sins. But later on, he sort of caved, mostly because of his turning into a vampire. He fully believes that humans, vampires, and werewolves are all beautiful creatures and people should admire God's handiwork like we should. Though he doesn't believe in pushing that kind of mindset onto people.

He is a lonely man, rarely making friends or trying for relationships due to the fact that people wouldn't want to be with a person like him. Though sometimes he gets attached easily and makes rash decisions because he doesn't want to lose another person.

Esmond is a very mysterious type of guy that is easy to talk to and get along with, not one to judge others for the way they are. Though he does judge one person and that is himself. He hates himself very strongly, finding himself to be just a simple monster that no one can love nor will ever love.

It causes him to drink a lot or go on a feeding spree in order to make himself feel better, craving something. often he regrets his decisions but secretly enjoys them as well, being the type of vampire that doesn't like to hide the fact that blood is something that makes him powerful. It's a bit of a guilty pleasure.

He rarely talks about his past and what happened in it. If he does talk about it it is very vague and he doesn't ever go into full detail on the things that happened to him. He doesn't want to worry people and he doesn't want to be manipulated after giving away person information about himself.

-LIKES
+ Reading old literature and poetry, skimming old buildings and architecture, sometimes he dabbles in sketching and also does a bit of photography, preferring older model type of cameras compared to newer ones, he also can swim fairly well and visits beaches often to take a dive into the ocean, attention and affection.

-DISLIKES
+ Vodka with a passion, obviously rude people, when he isn't allowed to get some sleep; he enjoys resting even though he has no need for it, traffic and airports, when people nitpick at how he does his profession. His past ( Duh ), people that discriminate for people's race, sexuality, gender identity, or species. Especially the species part considering he is a vampire after all.

| BACKGROUND |

( This I know for a fact might sound "edgy" or "cheesy" but I really don't care. This is also not the full length version of his background, the full length one is over 10 paragraphs long and I doubt anyone want's to read that. )

Esmond Lee Booth is his name.

Immigrating to America, Esmond spend his childhood in an abusive state where his beliefs were constantly questioned by himself and others. Having been forced into a cult.

His faith soon came clear the more he grew into a young adult, leaving the cult and working on the railroad. Later becoming a priest and going to the Vatican to study to become an exorcist.

He fell into love and it became a sad betrayal which resulted in his turning into the creature he is today...
A vampire.

Today he is a rather unorthodox priest that travels the country performing exorcisms. His home is back in New Jersey where he lives in a tiny little home behind the church he is usually stationed at. He is a rather underground type of exorcist and doesn't like having a whole lot of people knowing of what his career is.

When back at home he often takes confessions and does the sermon, and he is very passionate about what he does.
